Iain Anderson
Champion fiddle player Iain is no stranger to Saltburn Folk Festival, having previously performed with the likes of Real Time, Judy Dinning, Kenny Speirs, John Wright and Bart van Beveren. Now, joining forces with Andrew Gordon and Euan Johnston, the trio of ‘Skelpt’ blends traditional ballads and fierce battle songs with footstomping fiddle tunes.

Dunfermline folk singer Andrew Gordon is known for his energetic singing and guitar playing on the stages throughout the UK and Europe. Building a connection with his audience from the first song, Andrew will be sure to have the whole room singing (and harmonising) throughout the set!
Skelpt are Euan Johnston, Iain Anderson and Andrew Gordon, Getting together in 2023 the band have worked hard on creating an energetic set of music suitable for the biggest festivals and smallest clubs and are looking forward to launching in 2024. They each have over 30 years experience in performing and play all over Scotland and Europe, As well as performing as Skelpt the lads perform in various differnent combinations of bands all with a focus on Scottish music

MusicSkelpt have recorded there first Album with B&B Studios Edinburgh, But the mixing and mastering will not be completed before February 2024. The lads created a video demonstrating their music live in a local venue. The video can be found below. We can also provide music from the other projects such as Anderson and Gordon, and Johnston and Gordon as these bands have been established longer
